Dating - Relationships - FWB People say Kolkata is the “City of Love” beside being “City of Joy”. If you are a bengali then love marriage is pretty obvious- this is what the rest of India thinks. So I thought to give a broad view of Love life of an ordinary Bengali. Let me start from the time from when it starts- school days :D. There you would see different kinds of love story. Mostly guys falling for the cutest girl of the class, or the girl sharing tiffin with the guy who seats at the adjacent desk. After going back home while doing boring homework mind drifts to the time when a smile was exchanged or when was that person stared. Then in high school days, bunking class and roaming with the special one is the “love”. Mostly the high school chemistry gets reflected in the facebook pictures and the longevity of the relation depends on the number of likes and type of comments the pictures get. Irrespective of language there are few common things that you would find in all Indian men: 1. “All” guys flirt with “all” girls. Be it your bf flirting with other girls or others’ bfs flirting with you. It’s upto you to what extent you will allow your man to do that or to what extent you will enjoy flirting. 2. Until and unless a guy tells explicitly that he loves you do not be under the assumption that he has feelings for you. Let the guy tell you that he loves you,let him tell you those 3 magical words then only get involved emotionally. 3. For a guy yes means a yes and no means a no. I moved on, so I am here I started the journey all alone Met many people on either side of the road Some travelled with me for some distance Some talked for a while Some exchanged smiles Some just passed a glance But I kept on moving. For The First Time In My Life For the first time in my life,  I am in a dilemma whether to feel sad As I pack my luggage; Coz I have to say good bye to this place. Love, Relationship, Feelings.... It's ok to have feelings for different people at the same time Coz feelings do not have the same form or type It's ok if you feel for someone but do not love that person Coz feelings and love are not the same It's ok if you do not want to be in a relation with the person you feel for Coz feeling, love and relation are completely different things. Love  is that kind of feeling which makes you think about the well being of that person Love has different forms Some people feel love means sacrifice, some people feel love means marriage Some feel love means to care about that person, even if you cannot stay with that person May be love means to think about that person before you think about yourself, like a mother does for her child. Relationship  is all about whether you will be able to stay with that person for time being If its long term, people end up tieing knots; for short term people call it dating. ...
